Apple is all set to launch refreshed MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and probably iMac at its ‘Hello Again’ event later today. Apple has not refreshed its Mac lineup for quite a long time and the 12-inch MacBook was the last major device from the Cupertino giant. Apple’s event comes at a time when the company reported another decline in iPhone and Mac sales and the launch of Microsoft’s Surface Studio – aimed at creative professionals.
Apple is widely rumoured to unveil new MacBook Pro with a Magic Toolbar – which is seen as the replacement of existing function keys. According to several rumours, the new Magic Toolbar will integrate Touch ID for seamless access to Apple Pay. The OLED touch bar is also reported to offer dynamic functions that can be customised for every individual program.
Apple is also reportedly ending the lifecycle of 11-inch MacBook Air and will introduce 13-inch MacBook-esque device named Retina MacBook Air. The refresh around iMac and Mac Pro is not confirmed but Apple might surprise its Mac fanbase tonight.
