Senior DIG M.R Latheef has been appointed as the Commandant of the Special Task Force (STF). Latheef told media that the decision was announced to him on Thursday (18) morning. He is due to assume duties as the STF chief from Friday (19), it was reported. The National Police Commission decided to appoint Latheef as the Commandant of the STF two weeks ago.
