Sri Lanka strengthens Education and Connectivity Links with New Zealand

External Affairs Minister Professor G L Peiris, on an official visit to New Zealand, had discussions at Massey University, one of New Zealand’s largest universities, on a range of issues connected with dairy development in Sri Lanka and the strengthening of collaboration with universities and institutes in Sri Lanka in the field of veterinary sciences.

“Lanka Darshanam”, a Malayali language travelogue narrative on Sri Lanka, written by popular Malayali writer, poet and social activist S.P. Namboothiry, was released in Delhi, on 7 May 2014, in the presence of a large gathering including prominent Indian civil servants from Kerala and Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India, Prasad Kariyawasam.
